ㅤㅤㅤI am a 22-year-old student working toward finishing my bachelor's degree in Art/Art History. I have a balanced background through related studio courses such as, Ceramics, Design, Drawing, and Painting; as well as related history courses regarding Baroque, Chinese, Contemporary, Digital, Greek, Japanese, and Rococo art.

ㅤㅤㅤQ: What mediums are you familiar/most familiar with?ㅤㅤㅤA: Traditionally speaking, Acrylic and Graphite are the mediums I am most familiar or fond of, as they are the mediums I have the most time spent working with. However, I am also familiar with Charcoal, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Ink, Oil Pastels, and Soft Pastels. Within the digital space, I am very familiar with the art program "ClipStudioPaint" as it is the software I use to illustrate digitally.ㅤㅤㅤQ: What artists inspire your styllistic choices or art process?
ㅤㅤㅤA: Painters such as Caravaggio and Titian are my favorite historical artists, and I look to their works for inspiration for both compositional layouts and lighting. The Baroque-style dramaticism in lighting and story-telling fasicnates and motivates me to hone in on such elements within some of my own pieces. Within a more contemporary scope, Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist artists such as Cousturier, Degas, Monet, Morisot, and van Gogh are the artists I most frequent when looking for examples or references in color, mark-making, and texture. I share their interest in portraying people, in common-everyday environments.ㅤㅤㅤQ: What courses or areas of Art/Art History interest you ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤmost? What areas do you want to improve in?
